The only solution to the UV curing problem in collision repair is continuous motion. This is why SPDI has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars developing and patenting the technology. Nobody would spray a car without moving the spray gun. It is just a result of shady sales tactics and ignorance of the science behind UV curing that has gotten us here.

How come other systems are so much cheaper?
All other systems available fail in three major ways:
1. They cannot cure areas larger than a few inches in diameter
2. They cannot cure instantly, often taking as long as 30 minutes to cure a single coat.
3. Their cure is unreliable at the edges and therefore is susceptible to delamination after a few weeks
